Peter Rothstadt, Managing Director, Aston Insurance.
Aston Insurance was founded by Peter Rothstadt following a highly successful 15+ year career in insurance broking with major international broking houses Marsh, AON and Arthur J. Gallagher. Prior to launching Aston Insurance, Peter established Arthur J. Gallagher’s presence in the Victorian market as the State Manager.
Peter’s career began as a graduate at Marsh and he quickly discovered his passion for servicing medium to large corporate clients. In particular, he enjoyed working closely with large, privately-owned family operated businesses.
A distinguishing feature of Aston Insurance’s service is its holistic approach to understanding client’s often complex affairs, coupled with a highly personal touch.
From a technical perspective, Peter’s experience across varying asset classes, industries and risk profiles allows Aston Insurance to service large companies with highly diversified operations. Whilst on a personal level, Aston Insurance prioritises old fashioned service which resonates with clients and results in both lasting business and personal relationships.
Peter’s long term partnerships have been spread across diverse industries that include: manufacturing, property developers, property owners, strata, construction, hospitality, importers/distributors, service providers, information technology, retailing, individuals requiring tailored solutions.
Sam Walker, Account Manager, Aston Insurance.
Sam started his career in insurance in 2007 with Crawford & Company Bendigo, progressing through to the role of External Loss Adjuster, managing everything from domestic claims up to significant property and business interruption losses.
In 2015, Sam accepted a position with Allianz Insurance as an Account Manager responsible for managing different authorised representative groups Australia-wide. During this time he gained a strong understanding in all aspects of sales, underwriting and account management.
In 2018, Sam made the move within the industry to insurance broking, and shortly thereafter, having been introduced to Peter and Aston Insurance through his Allianz role, Sam joined the team. With his strong values and diverse expertise, Sam has quickly become a valued team member and earned the respect and trust of our clients.
